When is the best time to do the session?
Each woman is different as they develop through out their pregnancy. It is best to schedule your session before your hands, feet, and face swell up. During your 7 month tends to be best.
Where are maternity session held?
I recommend the Ft. Pierce Inlet, Riverside Park, or Mckee Jungle Gardens for outdoor sessions. My in home private studio is perfect for partial nudes for a more dramatic look. Studio session not recommended for families.
What should I wear?
Simple is best. The focus will be on the belly. It is important not to deter with crazy prints and loud colors. Your husband and children (when applied) should also coordinate with you. If you wear jeans then your husband should wear jeans. You can also bring a long flowing skirt to change into. Also wear or bring a button down top. Please bring a strapless bra if you wish to take photos draped in fabric. Limit your jewelry to heirloom or other important jewelry. No watches, unless an heirloom. Your nails and your families nails should be clean and polished.
More Important Info.
Drink plenty of water leading up to your session. This will help give you glowing skin. Get plenty of rest the night before your session. Plan ahead and leave yourself plenty of time to arrive to your session on time and stress free.
Beach sessions.
Please bring with you a towel. You most likely will get a little bit wet. It is recommend to arrive with your hair pulled back. If you choose to come with it down, bring a hairbrush and hair tie just in case.
